EMDR Therapy
You don’t have to stay stuck in the past to heal from it.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma-focused therapy approach that can help your brain process difficult or distressing experiences in a healthier way. While EMDR is often associated with trauma, it can also be helpful for anxiety, emotional distress, negative beliefs, and experiences that continue to affect how you feel, think, or respond today.
Rather than requiring you to repeatedly talk through every detail of a difficult experience, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements, tapping, or sounds—to support the brain’s natural processing system. Over time, memories that once felt overwhelming may become less emotionally charged, allowing you to feel more grounded, confident, and in control.
EMDR is not about forgetting what happened. It’s about helping you move forward without the past continuing to control your present.
If you’re ready to explore whether EMDR is right for you, I’m here to help you take that first step.
